De lunch bij Fattoria La Vialla was misschien wel het hoogtepunt van onze zomervakantie in Italië. Een bezoek aan Fattoria La Vialla in Toscane (Italië) stond 3 jaar op mijn bucketlist. Na ontvangst van de eerste brochure en bestelling zijn manlief en ik op slag verliefd geworden op dit authentieke concept met de smaak van vroeger.

Fattoria La Vialla Die „echte“ Toskana schmecken und erleben
Die Fattoria. Die Fattoria La Vialla ist ein familiengeführter landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb mit eigenem Olivenöl, Rotwein, Weißwein, Saucen, Pasta und Gebäck. Die Fattoria liegt in der Toskana, etwa eine Stunde südlich von Florenz in der Provinz Arezzo. Zwischen alten gemauerten Häusern sitzt man auf dem kleinen Fattoria-„Dorfplatz.

Fattoria la Vialla, camperplaatsen
Tussen de glooiende Toscaanse heuvels vol cipressen, vruchtbare velden, olijfboomgaarden en wijngaarden vind je Fattoria La Vialla, de parel in de kroon van Toscane. Umberto Paperini lacht vrolijk. Hij heeft redenen genoeg. Zonnestralen schijnen door de bomen en verwarmen de Toscaanse grond. Cipressen en hazelaars wuiven zachtjes in het briesje.

La Vialla is a centre of excellence for wines & foods, biodynamic & beautifully presented. The heart of the Fattoria has a winery, oil processing, cheese making, vinegar making, an amazing museum of historical artefacts, a cantina, a shop, & a delightfully helpful staff (excellent English!). Toscane tip: Een dagje Fattoria la Vialla Al heel lang ontvang ik de brochures van Fattoria la Vialla. Al bladerend ben ik dan een beetje in Toscane. Een aantal keer heb ik samen met een vriendin ook de heerlijke producten van Fattoria La Vialla besteld.

Het is mogelijk de 'bottega' (huiswinkel) van Fattoria La Vialla in Meliciano te bezoeken en een merenda (uitgebreide broodmaaltijd) te gebruiken van april tot en met 20 oktober van maandag tot en met.
